I began my professional journey in psychology by obtaining a bachelor's degree, which provided me with foundational knowledge of human behavior and psychological principles. Subsequently, I earned a master's degree in mental health counseling, where I developed practical skills to assist individuals facing mental health challenges through therapeutic interventions.
I pursued further education to obtain a doctoral degree in clinical psychology. This extensive training enhanced my comprehension of psychological disorders and their treatments. It also prepared me to evaluate psychological conditions, make diagnoses, and provide advanced therapeutic care to my patients.

To effectively address an individual's mental health issues and the difficulties encountered by them or their family, it is essential to have a comprehensive understanding of all relevant details. Therefore, I, Dr. Karen Hawk, utilize a holistic, trauma-informed methodology in conjunction with a range of evidence-based therapeutic practices.
